I had a short stay in Art Hole Hostel but it was a great one! The staff was helpful from minute one, gave tips on places to see and the route and places to eat at. They were all very friendly and nice and considerate. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice. The decoration and the painted wall are so delightful, it gives the hostel such an upbeat feeling. The breakfast was good! And above all the location is great! It's really close to the International Bus Station, not even a ten minutes walk, and to the Old Town and other attractions. I plan to go to Prague again to see more of the city and without a doubt Art Hole will be my choice again!

I had a pleasant stay at the Art Hole Hotel in December 2016. The receptionist (Long Black Hair) was lovely, there was people to meet in the living room when I arrived, the breakfast was good, the location makes it very easy to go to the center of the city, the beds are pretty good, the place is clean and very pretty. It was all alright except tiny details that would have made my stay perfect!

- The pillows could be bigger... There are kind of tiny.
- If it fits with the Hostel budget, I think the breakfast juice should be real fruit juice, the one I had was not good...
- The shower on the 4th floor that you access from the kitchen would need a curtain. I'm not shy and the fog blurred the window but I don't know if the neighbours liked the show ;)
- The two showers of that floor would need somthing to hang things. I had to put my wet towel on my clothes :(

Also it is true that it's a little noisy because the rooms doors are in the living rooms but it makes the place more friendly and these doors are so pretty! :)

In a nutshell: A good place that I would recommand.

A for Awesome! Art Hole was a great find! Really close to the centre of the old town, it's a good sized hostel sized hostel spread across 2 floors (which both have kitchens, bathrooms & living spaces) that have been painted with all kinds of different awesome art. The staff are really friendly & really helped me to feel welcome. It's a great place to meet other travels as there are daily things happening. One tip I have is to try & get a room on the 3rd floor, away from the noisy reception ;)

Such an awesome hostel! Got ill on the second night I was there and one of the staff members personally took me to the hospital. Really friendly staff, cool vibe, very clean, and good location. Staff go out of their way to help you and seem to like their job. The art is beautiful and the hostel is surrounded by good places to eat and drink. The rooms are really spacious so you don't feel cramped in with other people. Highly recommend staying here, even if it's just for a night!

The staff was amazing. When my friend started vomiting, they let us stay past check out so she could sleep until our flight. And when one of the guys in our room peed all over our floor and got in my bed, they came and moved my sick friend out and got her more blankets. I did think they would remove the rude, sexually harassing, peeing on the floor drunk guy in our room, but despite that the staff was very helpful. The facilities are a little old, bathrooms tiny, and heat non existent.

My friend and I stayed here for one night in September (both girls). From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and the staff member at the front desk, suggested two traditional Czech places to eat. We took on board one of his suggestions, and seriously I am still craving that sauce two months later. It was excellent. The hostel has all of the amenities you require, decent wifi, clean washroom facilities, fully equipped kitchen and a nice lounge/reception area for socialising. The dorms were mixed, with secure lockers for valuables, and the street noise was not bothersome. Everyone staying in the hostel was respectful and made an effort to reduce the noise level after midnight.

I would highly recommend staying here if you want to stay in a social hostel, with friendly staff and guests willing to converse and share a conversation.

My stay at Art Hole was GREAT! Honestly, all of my expectations for my stay were exceeded at this cool, quirky hostel. The owner and employees were all incredibly helpful & genuinely kind. The 10-bed room was very clean and people were respectful when coming in late. Showers were good, though I still wore shower shoes to be safe. GREAT location! & the other people staying were great & several were down for evenings at the hostel drinking Kozel in the common area for the cheapest price in town!

Decent place, we were very happy with the staff and the environment, the art was so fun! We wished for more bathroom and shower facilities as they were sparse and far away from the rooms. We also had problems with hot water, there were times with no hot water, or with very low water pressure. The mattresses and pillows were old and very worn and the beds were incredibly close together, there was very little personal space. But overall great place, worth the value, would stay here again.

Liked: Easy to meet people in the common area, attracts more easygoing travelers.

Disliked: -No privacy in upstairs bathrooms because they didn't have ceilings, so everyone can hear you while youre using them. -Internet was completely dysfunctional -Staff never organized outings at night.

Liked: Great place! Spacious, cute as hell, friendly, safe, and not in the most touristy area but still quite close to everything :)

Disliked: Nothing really! Breakfast was pretty simple, but that's to be expected for a hostel breakfast. No complaints!
